💨 The Weather Gods have Spoken, and we know how to read a room…

We have been impacted by the same power outage affecting hundreds of homes and businesses in and around Bunbury. Thankfully we are safe and the shop is secure, but without power we are out of action.

Yeah, we could wait and see… But looking out the windows at the wild winds and dark skies, we are keen to get home ourselves. The saying goes ‘it’s nice weather for ducks’ - but even these ducks have a limit!

We hope you all stay safe where ever you are and what ever you’re doing.

All going well, we will open as planned tomorrow, for a fast a furious Brunch Service: 8am - 12noon.

We are a tad short-staffed this week, and as much as we hate to let you down, something had to give. We would rather close than give you less than our best!

The Good News is we will be OPEN for the Monday Public Holiday next week, 8am - 12noon for Brunch Service 🫶

Pottering away with some after-close admin this afternoon, I snuck a peek at our Google listing — and did a bit of a double-take. 👀

We are 35 reviews away from 1,000 😳

We've decided that when we hit it, we're going to celebrate properly. 🎉 We're still sorting the details before we spill — but we think you're going to love it. 🤩

More than the number though — the fact that so many locals and visitors have taken the time to share their experience with the world genuinely means everything to us. We don't take that lightly.

So if you've ever had a great time at Hello Duck and haven't quite gotten around to leaving a review — now would be a beautiful moment. 🦆

Sad to say, we Broke some Hearts today!

Despite prepping more portions of Potato and Leek Rosti than any other Fancy *ever* … we still sold out by 10:30 this morning 😥

We will make it up to you though… we’re planning a ‘do-over’, and will be launching another Rosti Special later in the week ❤️ … apparently we love a good Rosti?!
