Three days, plenty of outback character and a landscape that keeps changing.

One day you’re riding camels along dusty tracks past old stone buildings, the next you’re standing beside Menindee Lakes, with weathered river gums rising from the water and the horizon stretching for miles.

In between, there’s Silverton. Stop at the iconic hotel, wander through quirky tin-shed galleries and see the old machinery and buildings that give this little town its unmistakable outback feel.

Then finish the day with a golden-hour view across Silverton as the sun drops behind the old skyline.

Our 3-Day Broken Hill Outback Explorer takes care of the 4WD travel, meals and local guiding, so you can settle in and enjoy the ride.

Three days. Plenty to see. Even more to remember.

Some parts of the outback you need to see from the ground. Others make sense when you see them from above.

Over three days, explore Menindee Lakes and Kinchega from the ground, then take to the air for a different view of the waterways, red dirt and wide-open country.

Back on the road, there’s plenty more to discover. Take in the views from the Line of Lode Miner’s Memorial, explore historic Silverton, visit the Royal Flying Doctor Service Heritage Centre and wander through peaceful billabong country beneath the river red gums.

Then finish the day at the Living Desert Sculptures as the last light hits the sandstone.

With a local guide, comfortable 4WD travel and the details taken care of, you can simply enjoy the journey.

If you’re heading west, make it count.

You don’t need weeks away to experience the best of Far West NSW.

In three days, you’ll ride camels through the outback at golden hour, wander the old streets of Silverton and spend time around Menindee Lakes, where the landscape feels completely different again.

Along the way, there’s plenty of character too. Meet the donkeys outside the Silverton Hotel, explore the Mad Max 2 Museum, discover hidden garden oases and take in the views from the Line of Lode Miner’s Memorial.

With a small group, comfortable 4WD travel and an experienced local guide, the details are taken care of so you can focus on enjoying the journey.

Three days. Big landscapes. Plenty of stories to take home.
