COOK / CHEF WANTED!
Do you love food, thrive in a busy kitchen, and have a personality that fits in with a bunch of lovable weirdos? We might have just the spot for you!
The Mulga Hill Tavern is on the hunt for a Cook or Chef to join our team!
We’re looking for someone who can jump into a busy pub kitchen, learn our menu, bring their experience to the table and isn’t afraid to throw a few ideas around. We love what we do, but we’re always up for fresh ideas, new specials and someone who can bring a little something extra to the kitchen.
What we’re looking for:
🧼 Someone who understands that hygiene, cleanliness and presentation are top priorities.
🍴 Someone who takes pride in their food and enjoys a job well done.
⏳ Someone who can keep up when the tickets start rolling in.
💡 Someone willing to learn our way of doing things while sharing their own knowledge and creativity.
⚖️ Someone who understands food costings and has the ability to work within margins
🤝 A team player who pulls their weight and backs the people around them.
🤗 Someone who doesn’t take themselves too seriously and can fit in with our colourful, quirky crew!
You don’t need to know everything on day one, but a good attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine passion for food go a long way.
We’re a busy pub with a big personality, and we’re looking for someone who wants to be part of the team, contribute their ideas and help us keep serving up great food.
