Important Update for all Our Valued Patrons.

We would like to inform all our customers that as of today, under the New Management & Staff, we are no longer able to accept any E-Gift cards or Dining Vouchers that were previously issued under the previous Mangement. These vouchers are now null and void and cannot be redeemed towards meals or purchases.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding during this transition.

Our kitchen has been busy, - and we are excited to share all our new meals now available for breakky, lunch & dinner.

Start breakky with our Freshly made Bacon & Egg Rolls - served on a soft Brioche Buns & packed with Eggs, crispy bacon, succullent cheese, & even a crispy Hash Brown to start your busy morning. Pair it up with our beautiful hot coffees, or a hot chocolate or any hot beverage of your choice made by our Wonderful Baristas. Prefer something cold? Try our freshly made Strawberry or Banana smoothies made with freshly locally sourced fruits in season.

Our famous in- house one of our Signiture dishes K&K's Vienna Schnitzels are still the star of the show along with all of K&K's beautiful Autrian dishes are still available and are on offer on our menu.. All of our Austrian dishes are still popular. Everyone is most welcome!!!!

After 30 years at K&K Austrian Café Restaurant and a lifetime in hospitality, the time has come for me to hang up the apron.

Through K&K, I was proud and fortunate to honour my culinary heritage while blending it with local tastes, creating a small piece of Austria here in our beautiful subtropical city of Brisbane. Being part of Brisbane’s growing and evolving food scene, with its appetite for culinary diversity, has been both exciting and challenging over the years.

My career began in Vienna as a 15-year-old chef’s apprentice in the kitchen of a five-star hotel. Along the way, I had the privilege of working as an English-trained butler. Those early years took me to many fascinating places, where I had the honour and pleasure of meeting and serving remarkable and inspiring people.

To my wife, thank you for your unwavering support and encouragement through all the long days and late nights. I could not have done this without you.

A special thank you to my old friend and co-founder, Wolfgang Ke, who helped me find my path and purpose.

While I am stepping away, K&K will live on. Russell and Gabby will now take up the reins and continue guiding this much-loved local icon into the future.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this remarkable journey, for your support, the years we shared and all the wonderful memories.

From a spark of an idea - a flavour, a concept, a vision, a calling.

This year, K&K proudly celebrates 30 years.

For three decades, K&K has been a place where people meet, connect, celebrate and create memories. It has become a home away from home for many.

Led by Wolfgang and his charismatic Viennese spirit, K&K has proudly shared the classic flavours of Austrian cuisine.

Along the way we have had the honour of hosting countless life moments - christenings, birthdays, engagements, weddings, anniversaries and memorials.
Generations of families have walked through our doors.

A thank you goes to our loyal guests for your continued patronage and support.
We wouldn’t be here without you.

Over the years we have welcomed leaders of state and industry, while also serving the wider community through local celebrations, festivals, launches and events across Brisbane.

Thank you to all the staff who have been part of our journey over the years. Your efforts have helped shape what we are today.

A very special thank you goes to Sherylee Pignat, who has been part of the K&K family for more than 25 years. Her dedication, loyalty and tireless work make her the heart of our operation.
