Hello!

I’ve decided it time to come out of my hiding place after loosing the cafe and I am taking over the Carina Leagues Club for St Patrick’s Day.

For one night I am throwing all your old Irish favourites on their Bistro menu with a bit of entertainment and Guinness specials.

If you have any interest in coming along please feel free to message me and I’ll make sure to keep you a table.

Hey Everyone!

Long time huh?!

I’ve come out of the hole I’ve been hiding in since loosing the cafe and am planning to take over Carina Leagues Club for St Patrick’s Day! Putting all your old Irish favourites on the Bistro for one night only.

Hi All,

Thank you to everyone who donated to our go fund me (a few months back). Sadly because we were locked out we couldn’t go ahead with our plan and so all the money donated has now been refunded to all those who generously donated.

You should see the money back in the accounts/against the cards you paid with within the next 5-7 days.

If you don’t please feel free to get in touch and I will make it happen.

We are still deeply disappointed that we couldn’t do what we had intended but thank you all once again for backing and supporting us at the time.

- Many of you will have seen the story in the news about 19yr Cian English. His family are originally from Carlow but now live locally in Hawthorne.

With the current circumstances their family and friends who would ordinarily have been on a plane to come help and support them at this time are not allowed to fly.

I was hoping we could show them a bit of support by lighting a candle tonight in Cians honour in line with his parents wishes.

Feel free to jump on to their page to share pictures of your candle (should you wish) to show them that while they might not have their family and friends beside them they have the best community in Brisbane thinking of them at this time.

Loved the Soda (Brown) Bread we used to make in house?

We recently received a shipment of flour imported from Ireland. Each 2 kilo bag will make between 6-8 loaves of bread.

This is not a pre-mix which you can buy at Woolies, this is just coarse flour that is the secret to a great brown bread.

Selling at cost $12 per bag. (The less reminders lying around my house the better!)

Happy to deliver locally at no charge.

Hi Everyone -
New day new start!

Before we launch the app we thought we would get your feedback on what you guys want. The goal post keep changing so we want to know

1. Is it coffees/cakes/muffins you think you might like takeaway /delivered?

2. Is it our menu as usual takeaway/delivered?

3. Is it home cooked dinners you can eat when you like (similar to our dinner menu type dishes hearty food.) takeaway/delivered?

Because these are such strange times we thought it was best to ask you what you all want or need and that’s what we’ll focus on.

Any help or feedback here is most welcome- so fire away!

We are open as normal this morning.

We re-arranged last night to meet the new guidelines that were introduced yesterday.
While we lost some capacity we do still have 16 seats inside and 36 outside the back so plenty of room for you all.
