A Little Story That Touched Us Today ❤️
Last Friday during the lunch rush, things were incredibly busy.
Our young cashier thought a regular customer may have accidentally left without paying for his lunch. Since he’s a familiar face and there was so much happening at the time, we simply noted it in the system as unpaid and didn’t think too much of it.
Today (Wednesday), he came back for lunch. When we mentioned it, he genuinely didn’t believe he had missed the payment. To be honest, we weren’t completely sure either—it had been such a hectic day, and memories can be fuzzy when the café is full.
We told him not to worry about it.
But just before closing this afternoon, he rushed back into the café.
He had gone and checked his bank records.
Turns out our cashier had remembered correctly.
He had indeed forgotten to pay.
He came back specifically to settle the bill.
It wasn’t a large amount of money.
But his honesty meant a lot to us.
Running a small café, we’re lucky to meet all kinds of people every day. Moments like this remind us that trust, integrity, and doing the right thing still matter.
Thank you for making our day.
Sometimes the smallest stories leave the biggest impression. ☕❤️
The coffee keeps us going, but it’s people like this that keep us smiling. ☕😊
