Join us for a FREE, fun, hands‑on craft workshop designed especially for little creators. Set right beside the beautiful Cranwell Park, this session invites families to slow down, connect, and enjoy a playful morning together.
Colour Exploration: Primary and Secondary Colours In this lesson, students will explore the exciting world of colours by learning about primary colours (red, yellow and blue) and secondary colours (orange, green and purple). Students will begin by discovering how primary colours can be mixed to create new colours. They will then take part in a hands-on activity using modelling clay to mix colours and observe the results for themselves.
Finally, students will apply what they have learned by creating a colourful artwork, such as a fruit platter or a healthy breakfast, using the colours they have mixed.
This fun and creative activity helps children develop their understanding of colour theory while encouraging imagination, fine motor skills, and artistic expression.
