Hello friends and supporters! 💛

FilACT is continuing our fundraising drive for our kababayans in Cebu who were affected by Typhoon Tino. Many families are still recovering, and every little bit helps. 🙏

We are also collecting goods) with drop-off points in Gungahlin, Tuggeranong, and Queanbeyan.

Donations will be accepted until the end of November for shipment to Cebu in December 2025. 📦

We’re reaching out to seek your support for a team of Filipina girls aged 12–15 from Buglas Futbol, a grassroots program from Negros Island, who will be competing in the Kanga Cup (14–19 July) at Charnwood Field, Canberra. Kanga Cup is the biggest international youth football tournament in Australia hosted by Capital Football. There will 29 delegates flying from the Philippines including the coaches and the coordinators.

As homegrown talents proudly representing the Philippines, they need assistance with transport, food, fares, and other basic needs. If interested to help, you may reach out to the following people:

We are inviting Filipino-Australians to attend the FCCACT 2023 Philippine 🇵🇭Independence Celebration Ball in Canberra, ACT on Saturday, 24 June. See attached flyer.

Dress Code: Formal, no jeans

It will be an evening of 3-course dinner, cultural presentation, entertainment and a live band (Special K) for dancing music.

WOW! We can’t thank you ❤️😍enough for coming to our Delikase Pinoy Street Food Stall at the Pasko sa Canberra and missing 😘🥰 us for the past two years. It was non-stop selling of delicious, sumptuous and real “lutong bahay” Filipino food of lechon, lechon paksiw, dinuguan and beef kaldereta 🧆🍗🍖 from 10am to 4pm. We had the longest line of people 👬👭👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 queuing just to taste our lechon too. So sorry for other people who missed out.

We will organise something soon. Just watch this space!!!
