Nine years ago on the 3rd August 2017, we opened the doors to Lobster Shack Tasmania for the very first time. Just a seafood counter at the front of the rock lobster factory, we never imagined how our little family business would grow! We’re a bit bigger these days, but the heart of our business is still the same: every single day, our goal is to provide beautiful, fresh Tasmanian seafood and seafood meals to Bicheno locals and the guests who visit our town. Thank you all so much for coming on the journey with us: we couldn’t have done it without you🦞❤️

August is a special time to visit Bicheno. The town is a bit quieter, the coastline feels a little wilder, and time seems to slow down. We're looking for people who:

Marcus has been busy this week unloading many hundreds of kilograms of live rock lobsters, ready to share with our guests. Take one home (cooked or fresh) or enjoy a little bit of seafood luxury on our oceanfront deck: lobster served natural, with garlic butter or our beautiful cheesy mornay sauce. Always served with chips and salad 🦞❤️
