Hope’s Cafe is open from 10am to 2:30pm every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Meals are from 11am to 2pm

Welcome to Hope’s Café, we are open every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 10am and 3pm. Hope’s Café is a part of the Spire Community, a dynamic gathering place where everyone may participate and flourish! Come along and enjoy a low cost coffee, join in one of our activities, buy from Goodies Op Shop or get help from Uniting Communities Eastern Services. Best of all, make a friend....or be a

friend here at Hope's Cafe. Just some of our activities:

- Courtyard gardening project
- Music Jam every Friday afternoon
- English as a Second language Classes
- Art and Craft workshops and groups

This week the Cafe will be open Wednesday and Thursday for meals. But due to the hot weather policy protecting volunteers from extreme heat, the kitchen will not be open on Friday. We will still serve coffee (hot and cold) for the day.

Last meals are ordered at 1:45pm for both Wednesday and Thursday.

Our Story

Salam and welcome to Hope’s Café! We are open every Wednesday and Friday between 10am and 3pm.

Hope’s Cafe is one part of the larger Spire Community, are a collaboration between Uniting Communities and the Uniting Church to create a community where everyone may participate and flourish. This is the most important thing to us and why volunteers contribute their time and energy....to build community. We may not be able to change the harshness and judgement of the world, but we can together make this small part a place of inclusion, care, equity and kindness. We ask that you do too when you visit us.

Onsite you can find the well stocked and affordably priced Goodies Op Shop, which raises the funds to assist with our community efforts. You can get get help with your English in one of our six levels of ESL classes held every Friday morning. You can take part in Seniors activities, You can join the Community Garden team (or walk through it and enjoy it).

You can volunteer to help, or get help. You can make a friend...or be a friend.
