You’ll want to save this post for those cosy brewed chai days 🤎

For every cup of chai, you’ll be using:
•1 tsp masala (or rooibos) chai leaves *
•1/4 cup boiling water
•3/4 cup milk of choice
•1/2 tbs honey

Firstly, have your kettle boiled. Add the water to a saucepan and your teaspoon/s of chai. Allow the chai to infuse in the boiling water for 1 minute before the cold milk. Give the pot a gentle stir and bring it the boil.

Once it has boiled add your honey and stir it through, this is an optional step, as some people prefer it without the extra sweetness but it can be a nice balance for the spices. Finally, strain into your cup.

* Tea tip ~ make sure you give the tin a little shake to mix the spices back up as the finer spices can settle to the bottom.

Are you a lover of masala chai?

Come and enjoy a slow weekend with us 🌷🌿

Berry is such a beautiful little town and this month there is even more reason to visit. Next week from the 15th October until the 18th October, the Berry Gardens Festival will take place ~ run by the Berry & District Garden Club.

This is an opportunity to take a stroll amongst Berry’s finest gardens with proceeds going to numerous community projects. At the very same time, during October we have Pink Up Berry where $1 from every cupcake sold from our little tea shop will be donated to the McGrath Foundation.

It’s all happening this month! Come on by for tea and a cupcake and enjoy the slower pace 🩷
