- Goodbye Dear Kudu Patrons,

As I pass on the keys to our cherished cafe, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you. Your unwavering support, laughter, and shared moments have made this cafe more than just a place to grab a cup of coffee – it's been a community, a refuge, and a home away from home.

As we transition into a new chapter with the arrival of Reposium, I am filled with mixed emotions. While I am sad to bid farewell to this familiar space that has held so many memories, I am also excited for the opportunities that lie ahead for both you and the new tenant.

Please know that although the physical space may change, the bonds we've formed here will remain strong. Whether it's reminiscing about our favorite menu items, just sitting watching the African wildlife videos on the television taking you to beautiful areas in my beloved home country, or simply sharing a smile in passing, our connection transcends brick and mortar.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to our one and only cafe assistant Sarah Coates who has poured her passion into every cup, every cake slice and plates of goodies immaculately dressed and served, and every conversation shared. Your dedication has been the heartbeat of this cafe, and I am endlessly grateful for your hard work and commitment. I also want to extend my appreciation and gratitude to Letitia Lemmer, my daughter, who for a small period of time, helped get the Kudu Cafe off the ground, transitioning it from a stationery store into a beautiful cafe space and getting us connected technology wise and on a marketing level. A big huge thank you also to my son Nick and hubby Daniel, for your endless hours of hard work painting, maintenance and decorating and fitting out the space to make it one of its kind.. ever.

Back to my awesome customers, now as you continue to support Reposium, I hope you carry with you the fond memories we've created together when you walk into that little corner in Turner Park Shopping Village. Eventhough our signage will not be there anymore to vusually remind you of our existence, just know that you will always hold a special place in our hearts and we look forward to crossing paths with you again in the future.

Thank you for being more than just patrons – thank you for being a part of our cafe family.

Thank you EVERYONE for your support and heartfelt sentiments this morning. We really appreciate you all. I am closing early today at 2pm and this whole week, we will be closing at 2pm also. We will NOT BE OPEN on Saturday, 16 March, due to us packing up our house but open again on Monday and Tuesday 8am - 2pm. Tuesday, 19 March will be our last day of business as we have huge loads of arrangements to make, including removing the coffee machine from the property. Thank you again for your understanding.

Dear valued patrons, it's with mixed emotions that the Kudu Team will be bidding you farewell on Friday, 22 March 2024 when we will be relocating back to WA. I am of the understanding that our little space will remain a cafe under new tenancy but will have an additional service offered to the community, so all is not entirely lost. This all feels very surreal, but in saying that, we are immensely grateful for your support, kindness, acceptance in the community and cherished moments shared in our Cafe, and of course, thank you for all your kind words, gestures, beautiful reviews, love of coffee and big appetites and it's been an honor to expose you to a little part of the South African culture with our traditional dishes, especially our milk tart. While our journey together ends, the memories linger on. We have made precious new friends and thank you, from the bottom of our hearts for making our cafe a special place. Wishing you all the very best. Farewell our friends and may our paths cross again someday!

Hi all - regretably NO DINNER service tonight but we’ll be open until 5pm for take aways. We are reviewing the dinner service times as there seems to be very little interest locally.

CRUCIAL SITUATION!!! Please, I implore you to let me know if you hear of anyone who is willing to take over our tenancy of the Cafe, the sooner the better. We are also considering selling the business and assigning the remaining lease which is until June 2025. Please message me if you have or know of any interest. It would be very suitable for someone who is running a training school of some kind or looking for a space to run art workshops or community gatherings?

Apologies but we have closed early today to replenish our stock of Bunny Chow and Vetkoek & Mince. Unfortunately this means our dinner service is not happening tonight either, but we will be open again on Monday morning at 8am. Have a good weekend everyone!
