This was one of those cakes that let creativity run wild. From the towering sword to the dragon details and metallic finish, every element was designed to make a statement.

Seven years apart. Same finish line. Same determination. ❤️

If there's one person who has taught me what quiet strength looks like, it's my sister.

She is the most incredible, beautiful, weird, and wonderfully unique person I know. If she sets her heart on something, she doesn't just dream about it—she makes it happen.

Every year she takes on the Gold Coast Marathon, but this year was different. This year, she ran with an even bigger purpose.

After Mum was diagnosed with Stage 4 endometrial cancer, she dedicated her marathon to raising awareness and funds for endometrial cancer research. And in a moment that none of us will ever forget, she pushed Mum across the finish line in a wheelchair. It was emotional, inspiring, and such a beautiful reminder that even in the hardest seasons, we can still cross finish lines together.

Dan, I couldn't be prouder of you. Thank you for turning something so heartbreaking into something filled with hope. We all love you more than words can say.

A huge thank you also goes to our beautiful Eli'gant Cakes community. 🌻 Every Mother's Day sunflower cupcake you purchased helped us contribute to Danielle's fundraising efforts. Your support meant so much to our family, and we're incredibly grateful that our little business could play a small part in something so meaningful.

Sometimes cake is more than cake. Sometimes it's a way to support the people we love, to give hope, and to remind each other that none of us have to face life's hardest moments alone.
