☕️A little price update from us☕️
We just wanted to let our customers know that due to the upcoming ban on card surcharges, we’ve had to make a small increase to our prices.
Unfortunately as a small café, we are not able to absorb these extra costs ourselves. Customers no longer pay the surcharge but the bank still charges us. The 10c here and there adds up scarily quick each week, month etc.
We’re especially sorry to our customers who prefer to pay cash as we know this shouldn’t affect you. As an incentive, we will be offering a small cash discount to try and keep costs down.
We can see other businesses are eliminating eftpos and using payID, bank transfer or cash but unfortunately in a cafe it just isn’t practical at the till.
We truly appreciate your understanding and continued support of our little café. Every coffee, meal and visit means so much to us and we’re incredibly grateful to have you here. It is a tough time for small businesses around Aus and we are all trying to navigate this.
