🎉 SOLD OUT! 🧁🥤

Wow — we are absolutely blown away!

Our very first Milkshake & Cupcake Decorating event is officially SOLD OUT!

When we decided to give something like this a go for the school holidays, we weren’t quite sure what the response would be — so to have both sessions completely sell out overnight means so much to us.

A huge thank you to our wonderful community for continuing to support our little local business. It’s because of that support that we’re able to try new things and create fun events for both local and visiting families to enjoy right here in our own town. 💕

We can’t wait to welcome everyone on Wednesday 7th October for plenty of milkshakes, cupcakes, decorating and fun! 🧁🥤

And judging by the response… it might just be the first of many. 👀

For those that missed out, check out our local Barraba Library that are doing some cool school holiday activities this week!

Thank you for backing local — we truly appreciate it! ❤️

🏆 The Leafy Loaf’s Cutest Customer Award of the Day goes to… this little legend! 🧁☕️

Mini hot choc raised, cupcake ready, and completely stealing the show. 🥹💚

Safe to say, he made our day at The Leafy Loaf that little bit sweeter! 🌿✨

💛 R U OK? Day 💛

Today is a reminder that a simple question can make a real difference.

“R U OK?”

Take a moment to check in with the people around you — a friend, family member, colleague or neighbour. You don’t need to have all the answers. Sometimes, simply listening and being there is enough.

And remember, you don’t have to wait for R U OK? Day to ask. A meaningful conversation can happen any day. 💛

Ask. Listen. Encourage action. Check in.

💚 A HUGE THANK YOU & A LITTLE UPDATE FROM US 🩷

We’ve been absolutely overwhelmed by the incredible support you’ve shown us! Because of the amazing response, we’ve gone through all of our stock and need to wait for fresh supplies to arrive on Thursday before we can get back in the kitchen and bake more goodies. 🥐🍪🧁

Unfortunately, this means we’ll be CLOSED Thursday 10th September.

✨ We’ll be back OPEN Friday from 6:45am, with the ovens going and plenty of freshly baked goodies!

We also wanted to let you know that we’ve had to make a little adjustment to our opening days and hours.

Cath and Kim have been putting in some massive days behind the scenes, and while we absolutely love what we’re doing, we’ve realised that the hours we’ve been working simply aren’t sustainable long term. We want Leafy Loaf to be here for many years to come, so we need to create a healthier work–life balance that allows us to keep doing what we love without burning ourselves out. 🩷

From next week, our new opening hours will be:

🥐 Tuesday – Friday: 6:45am – 4:00pm (unless sold out)
🥐 Saturday: 7:30am – 12:00pm (unless sold out)
💤 Sunday & Monday: CLOSED

We genuinely can’t thank you all enough. The support, patience and understanding we’ve received has been incredible, and it means more to the Leafy Loaf team than you know.

Thank you for supporting our little business and for keeping us so busy that you’ve literally eaten us out of stock! 😂💙

See you Friday morning!

The Leafy Loaf team 🍀🥐❤️

Alright, I owe you an apology… I made a s**t run of pies today. 😬🥧

As I’ve said before, we’re still learning how to do this on a commercial scale, and today I got it wrong.

But I’ve already taken what I learned, made the changes, and I promise you — tomorrow’s pies taste AMAZING.

If you got one of today’s dodgy ones, please give us a second chance. We’re learning, improving, and putting everything we’ve got into getting this right. ❤️

Thanks for sticking with us.

Love,

🌿🥧 WOW… WHAT AN OPENING DAY! 🥧🌿

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came down to support us for the opening of The Leafy Loaf! 💚

We are honestly blown away by the overwhelming support from our community.

By 8:30am we had SOLD OUT of pies and sausage rolls! 😱 We quickly got to work making a second batch… and they sold out within minutes too!

And by 1:30pm, you had completely cleared us out — EVERYTHING in the shop was SOLD OUT! 🤯🥹

We truly cannot thank you all enough for coming in, saying hello, supporting our little shop and making our opening day one we will never forget. 💚

We’ve been busy trying to prep and restock for tomorrow, but please bear with us — we’re still finding our feet and can’t promise we won’t sell out again! 😅

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! 🫶
