The team at Ballina Men’s Shed have been hard at work creating these gorgeous custom cutlery holders for our new space.

A big thank you to Neil, Gary and the Ballina Men’s Shed team for helping bring our vision for The Boardwalk to life. We love being able to work with our local community and incorporate these special touches into the new space.

We can’t wait for you to see it all come together!

Happy International Coffee Day!

We’re incredibly lucky to have Zentveld's Coffee right here in our backyard, just a short drive from Ballina RSL.

We took a trip out to see where it all happens and learn a little more about the coffee we’re proud to serve our members and guests every day.

The Boardwalk Reno Has Begun!

And just like that… Day 1 is complete!

The space has been cleared and the transformation of The Boardwalk has officially begun.

There’s plenty happening behind the scenes over the coming weeks, and we’ll be taking you along for the journey with progress updates, sneak peeks and a few little reveals along the way.

We can’t wait to show you what’s coming to the river.

Spinnakers Dining is now open while The Boardwalk gets its refresh.

We’d love to see you upstairs for lunch or dinner over the next few weeks.

Bookings are recommended as we’re operating with a limited menu and limited seating during the renovation period.

Spinnakers Dining will remain open until The Boardwalk renovations are complete.

Who remembers when Spinnakers was a restaurant?

Well… it’s back!

While we can’t quite bring back the $2 beers from the good old days, we can bring back dining in Spinnakers.

With The Boardwalk now officially closed for its exciting makeover, Spinnakers is once again home to our bistro and bar service, bringing dining back to a familiar space from Ballina RSL’s past.

We’ll be operating with a limited menu and reduced seating, so bookings are essential.
Lunch
11:30am–1:00pm | 1:30pm–2:30pm
Dinner
5:30pm–6:30pm | 7:00pm–8:00pm

Please note, our kids’ play area and Blues Club Sessions will not be running during the renovation period.

What a difference 3 hours makes!

This afternoon at The Boardwalk, in fast-forward. Our makeover is officially underway!

A huge thank you to our hardworking team and everyone giving our pre-loved furniture a new home. New chapters all round.
