Without a shadow of a doubt, some of your favourite dishes this week have been our Goat's Cheese Gnocchi and Beef Carpaccio.

Familiar favourites from before sit alongside some new friends.

Small starters like stuffed baby squid ease into a chilli garlic and mussel spaghetti; stepping into a grigliata of beef, pork, chicken, or lamb, accompanied by sides like duck fat potatoes, roasted pumpkin or spiced parmesan green beans with kale.

Desserts to tempt may be a Sicilian-style cannoli, a gorgonzola soufflé with honey and walnut bread, or a chocolate budino with salted caramel and crumble.

Last night saw our first service; the soft launch as Peasant Osteria. Which as it turns out, was not so soft after all.

It was tremendous to see so many faces, many familiar and many new.

For those who showed us compassion and empathy as we navigated this new room, new menu, new staff, and new systems, we’re incredibly grateful.

We continue to strive towards refining our systems to provide you the familiar, seamless dining experience that makes Peasant so special.

Thank you all for your patience, support and kind words. It truly validates the hard work and effort our whole team has, and continues to pour into Peasant.
