It’s not just unboxing supplies and packing orders around here.

Behind the scenes, it’s a bit more… nerdy than people probably expect.

We recycle over 95% of the soft plastics that come through our warehouse, and we reuse cardboard, paper and packaging to ship out customer orders where we can. Less waste going out, less coming in again. We run our operations on more solar power than we actually use. The roof’s doing a lot of heavy lifting. ☺️

And in between all of that, we back a few community groups doing good work locally - from beach clean-ups to animal support and dog rescues.

Just how we run things. A bunch of small decisions that add up over time.
And it keeps us busy in a good way.

The Biogone team has officially gone into holiday mode, and we hope you’re all getting a moment to breathe, unwind and enjoy the holiday season!

Here’s something to think about... This time of year is full of gifts, shopping, wrapping, unwrapping… and then Boxing Day hits and it’s all go again. It’s fun, but it’s also a huge wave of packaging and plastic moving through the world in a really short window.

You don’t realise how quickly everyday products add up, or how much of it ends up sitting in landfill for centuries. That’s literally why Biogone exists. We wanted to create plastics that behave like normal plastics where you need them to, but break down much faster in modern landfills instead of hanging around landfills on the planet for centuries! If something slips through recycling (and plenty does), at least it won’t be stuck on Earth for generations.

So here’s our holiday message, from our small team to you.
