There’s some lovely fruits in season right now! We’ve poached a whole load of quince and made some quince crumble pies which are in the warmer, there’s also a choux puff with quince and a quince and apple compote.

Also fresh lime meringue tarts with curd from local limes, another date and dulce de leche cheesecake with local dates, and a lot of nice looking pastry in the cabinet.

Also fair warning, we are having a really tough time getting a hold of spelt flour at the moment so we are going through the last of what we have in the next couple of weeks. Apologies in advance if we have to put a hold on this for a while.

Making use of some surplus bread for some Croque-Monsieur - today only!

You could always take it home, add an egg and it becomes a Croque-Madame. Happy Pride 😉

Some more lovely date and dulce de leche cheesecake, date and pistachio choux puffs and heaps more other things.

We’re also cooking pizza out at the Steiner Fair today on Ragonesi Road, 10am-2pm so if you play it right you can do breakfast at the Bakery and Pizza for lunch at the fair! It’s always a great gathering and the sky has cleared so we hope to see you there!

We were lucky enough to get our hands on some date purée despite all the rain ruining their crops this year. Thankfully they preserve well and we still get to use this incredible local fruit.

So this is a sticky date cheesecake with a fresh coconut palm sugar milk jam (thanks 😉)

Lime meringue tarts, eclairs, cross laminated pain au raisin, multigrain baguettes, raspberry pavlova and heaps more.

Jasper the apprentice made sticky cinnamon scrolls and is in training for the NT regional apprentice bakers comp in a few weeks time.

Sales of all Jasper specials in the next few weeks will fund his flight up to Darwin for the comp 😉

Morning folks

We are open as usual for ANZAC Day and we have lots and lots of Anzac biscuits.

Also if you want them stuffed and baked in a croissant we’ve got that too.

Stacked to the rafters with everything else including pavlovas, passion fruit cheesecake, chocolate eclairs and heaps more.
