There’s some lovely fruits in season right now! We’ve poached a whole load of quince and made some quince crumble pies which are in the warmer, there’s also a choux puff with quince and a quince and apple compote.
Also fresh lime meringue tarts with curd from local limes, another date and dulce de leche cheesecake with local dates, and a lot of nice looking pastry in the cabinet.
Also fair warning, we are having a really tough time getting a hold of spelt flour at the moment so we are going through the last of what we have in the next couple of weeks. Apologies in advance if we have to put a hold on this for a while.
