26/08/2026

Join us this Saturday afternoon for some swing dancing!

Saturday Swing Sessions are back! 💃🕺🎶

After such a brilliant turnout for our very first one last month, we’re doing it all again this Saturday at Tropic of Capricorn - thetroppo.

Never danced before? Come along at 3pm for a free, super beginner-friendly 30-minute Lindy Hop taster. We’ll teach you a few basics and get you dancing, no partner and no experience needed.

Then from 3.30–5.30pm, we’ll turn up the swing-era jazz and open up the dance floor. Expect fast tunes, slow tunes and we’ll probably throw in a Shim Sham.

Alice Swings teachers will be there, so it’s a great chance to practise, ask questions, try things out and dance with lots of different people.

📍 Tropic of Capricorn, Alice Springs
📅 Saturday 29 August
⏰ 3–5.30pm
👣 Beginner Lindy Hop taster: 3–3.30pm
🍹 Food and drinks available

Come for the taster, stay for a dance. 🎷✨
