Meet Eddie and the girls.

Eddie is the rooster in charge of our Exchequer Leghorn girls.

He's a fairly impressive-looking bloke from one of my favourite breeds. Here's what you should know about Eddie.

Special skill: Hunting. He's as quick as lightning when he spots anything that wriggles or crawls.

Favourite treat: Silverbeet leaves.

Pet peeve: Anyone trying to sneak up on him.

Bad habit: Teaching everyone to sleep on the roof.

We'll introduce you to another one of our breeding boys soon — they've all got their own personalities around here.

A popular one — and we're down to our last 15 bags.

Western Grains Premium Poultry Mix has been a popular choice with our customers, and we've now only got 15 x 20kg bags left.

Moving forward, we're focusing our range on the feeds and products we use most with our own birds.
So once these 15 bags are gone, we won't be restocking Western Grains.

For those who love the mix, it isn't disappearing from Albany — you'll still be able to get it from other local stockists.

Some of our purebreds have snuck into today's poultry auction.

We've put a selection of purebred birds AND fertile eggs through today, so keep an eye out for The Chicken Man amongst the pens and lots.

The weather isn't exactly putting on its best performance, but we've currently got a glimpse of sunshine — so we'll take it!

Did I remember to take photos of what we sent?

Absolutely not.

So there's no sneak peek from me this morning. You'll just have to head along and see what's there.

A real sweetie!! This rooster will do whatever he can to surround himself with chicks. Every day he is let out he runs straight to the chick pen to spend his time with them.
