🎉 REEF FESTIVAL PARADE, YOU WERE A VIBE! 🌊⛵️

A HUGE thank you to all our young sailors and their families who came along and brought the BEST energy to the Great Barrier Reef Festival Parade! 💙

We had smiles, waving, plenty of fun and a LOT of flyers… well, until we ran out very early because you guys were way too keen! 😂📄

And yes… we may have had a few technical difficulties 👀 But did that stop us? Absolutely not. Our little crew pulled together, problem-solved, improvised and got the job done! Teamwork makes the dream work. 🤝

We’re so proud of our young sailors for showing up with such a fantastic spirit.

Just for Airlie Beach Race Week, we’re switching things up with a MONDAY SUNSET SESSION: BEACH PARTY EDITION! 🏖️🍹

You don’t need to be racing to join the fun! Whether you’re cheering on the fleet, spending the day in Airlie, or just chasing a good sunset, everyone is welcome. Bring your mates, grab a drink and soak up the Race Week atmosphere. 🍻⛵

The Great Barrier Reef Festival Art Exhibition 2026 has transformed the Whitsunday Sailing Club into a stunning gallery, showcasing incredible works inspired by this year’s theme, “Beyond Beauty.” 🌊

Proudly organised by Creative Connections Whitsunday Inc and Great Barrier Reef Festival , this exhibition celebrates the incredible talent of our local and visiting artists, inviting you to explore works that go beyond what meets the eye.

We’re sharing a sneak peek, but nothing compares to seeing these pieces in person. Wander through the exhibition, soak up the creativity, and vote for your favourite before the People’s Choice Award is announced on Sunday at 4pm.
