🌊 Hands on Disabled Surf Day is coming to Agnes Water! 🏄‍♀️☀️

On Saturday, 10 October 2026, the Discovery Coast Disabled Surfers Association will be bringing a free, safe and nurturing open-water surfing experience to our community.

The day is open to members of the disabled community from Fraser Coast to Rockhampton, with activities happening at Agnes Water Main Beach, Tom Jeffery Memorial Park sign-on area.

🏄 Participants welcome from 9am
🙋 Volunteers needed from 8am
🍔 BBQ lunch provided for everyone attending

If you’ve got a few hours to spare, why not come along and lend a hand? Volunteers play a huge part in making the day possible — and helping put plenty of smiles on dials.

What to bring: swimmers and a hat. Sunscreen, rash vests and water will be supplied.
