Altavilla Irpina Sports & Social Club - Official The Altavilla Sports & Social Club was founded in 1974 and is located in the Eastern suburbs of ADE

From humble beginnings in 1974, The Altavilla Club has nearly 40 years experience delivering mouth watering functions and corporate hire. Located only minutes away from the CBD in the culturual hub of Norwood, we are able to offer a unique service close to the city. The club is open to the public on Fridays and Sundays for pizza and pasta. Patrons are invited to partake in traditional activities such as bocce, bingo and Italian card games. The club is available for function hire throughout the week and on Saturdays.

Honorary Life Membership Nominations

A very special night for the Altavilla Irpina Community Club as we recognise six people who have given years of service, commitment and support to our Club and our wider community.

Honorary Life Membership is one of the highest honours our Club can bestow. It recognises the people who give their time, loyalty, friendship and commitment — often quietly and without ever expecting anything in return.

This year, we are incredibly proud to nominate:

❤️ Anna Covino
❤️ Tony Vello
❤️ Antonietta Forte
❤️ Elvira Spiniello
❤️ Peter Varricchio (posthumously)

We would also like to take a moment to remember Peter, who sadly passed away approximately seven months ago. Peter gave many years of friendship, support and commitment to the Altavilla Club and our community.

Although Peter is no longer with us to receive this honour personally, his contribution will always remain part of the history and legacy of our Club. We hope his family can take great pride in knowing how respected and appreciated Peter was by everyone at Altavilla.

To Angela, Anna, Tony, Antonietta and Elvira — thank you for everything you have given to our Club and community over the years.

And to Peter and his family — thank you, and know that Peter will always remain part of the Altavilla family.

This award recognises clubs that bring people together, create opportunities for members and guests to connect and socialise, provide outstanding support to their local community, and celebrate a strong and vibrant social culture.
