Today’s flower is Soft Pink from Joylene Sutherland, showing off its beautiful soft pink blooms! 🌸💕

We also came across a little sleepy friend crossing the road, so we gave it a helping hand and moved it somewhere a little safer! 🥰

A bit of colour and a little wildlife encounter. What more could you ask for! 🌵❤️

🌵❤️ THE END OF AN ERA… AND THE START OF SOMETHING BIGGER!

Well… we have pretty much officially moved!

From tomorrow, we have just 7 days left at our original location to remove the remaining stock, garden display plants and the last few bits and pieces.

It’s a strange feeling seeing the place almost empty after everything we’ve built here.

It has been an awesome experience meeting so many wonderful people and watching Tough Love Garden Supply grow into what it is today. Even I never imagined the true potential of what Tough Love could become when we started this journey.

A massive THANK YOU to every single person who has supported us, bought a plant, grabbed a coffee, told a friend, shared a post, helped us move or simply stopped in for a chat. You have all played a part in helping us get here. ❤️

It has been an absolute honour sharing our passion for beautiful, hardy, exotic and drought-tolerant plants with you all.

But this is definitely NOT the end of Tough Love.

It’s the beginning of a much bigger chapter. 🌵🌳

Our new location gives us so much more room to grow, expand our range and turn some of the crazy ideas in my head into reality. 😂 And we cannot wait to eventually welcome everyone through the gates!

For now, we are temporarily closed while we wait for some final approvals to come through.

If you need plants, have a garden project coming up or simply want to come and see us, we are still more than happy to meet you via private appointment. Just give us a call or send us an email to arrange a time.

We’ll be extremely busy finishing everything up until 14 October, but after that we can’t wait to start settling into the new place and seeing all your lovely faces again.

The colours just seem to pop so much more at night… and the weeds aren’t as easy to see either! 😅😂

🌸🌵 CHICO × SHICK PINK

Check out this stunning flower from one of our own roughly 2½-year-old seedlings!

This thing is already bigger than a football and seriously chunking up, throwing flowers almost the span of my hand! 🤯

I spotted it opening early yesterday, but the wind made getting a good photo nearly impossible. I went back last night and was actually surprised by just how massive the flower was!

Beautiful pink and purple tones and only 2½ years old… this one definitely has some potential! 👀

I’ll be putting this one in the ground to fatten up even more, with plans to propagate it in the future. 🌵🌸

🚛🌵 TODAY’S LOAD WAS A LITTLE DIFFERENT!

A trailer full of plants… plus everyone’s favourite bird! 🦜😂

We also moved two beautiful Yucca rostratas and a nice old Mexican Bottle Tree.

It’s been a very busy day! This morning we also moved the big Bottle Tree from out the front. For now, she’s sitting on the trailer waiting until we can get the crane out and put her into her forever home. 🌳❤️

Once she’s in the ground, we’ll be building a bench underneath her in memory of my wonderful Nanna, creating a special spot where our lovely customers can sit, relax and enjoy the shade for many years to come. ❤️

After a very busy month… which isn’t over yet! 😅 The rewards are already starting to show we have flowers coming!

A bit of a late one tonight, but I had to go out and snap some photos of this beautiful yellow flower! 💛🌵

There are buds everywhere, just getting ready to pop, with plenty more flowers on the way!

The season is only just beginning, the new growth is booming, and I’m excited to finally start enjoying the rewards of all the hard work and see what’s to come. 🌱🌵

And with the BIG MOVE almost finally over, I can’t wait to start getting everything set up and actually enjoy having some SPACE! 😂

It’s been a massive few months, but things are finally starting to come together.
