📣 A little Midday update!

For the next 6 weeks, we will be open at Midday Wednesdays & Thursdays only 🍜🥖

We are heading to Lucky Dumpling Market — and for the first time ever, the market is open for Friday lunch! 🥟✨

So while we are busy serving dumplings, noodles and bubble tea at the market on Fridays lunch, you can still get your Midday favourites with us Wednesday & Thursday, 11am–2pm.

In just a fortnight the 2026 Lucky Dumpling Market and OzAsia Festival will be back! Join us in Elder Park on the Adelaide Riverbank from 12pm Friday 9 October - we're kicking off this season with our first Friday lunchtime service 😋

Winner Winner, Phat Head Dinner 😁🏆

We won Best Food on the Boulevard in 2024, then backed it up this year with another win!

A super thanks to Rosy, behind the scenes, the rock that created our signature flavours, forever making marinades and sauces 🤩

A big thanks to Antonni for being the "light comic relief" when a bit of levity is required (or when it's not 😆)

And a huge thank you to our power girls Lani and Jess working on the Bubble Tea van ❤️ Running the van, serving the crowds and keeping the drinks flowing for 10 days is no small job. We couldn't have done it without you!

And then there's me… 😂
The cooking, the prep, the setup, the serving, the packing down and everything in between. There is a LOT that goes into getting Phat Head ready for an event like the Royal Adelaide Show

It's hard to explain the time, effort, sweat and stress behind the scenes. However, moments like this make it all worth it.

Watching Midday come to life has us reflecting on just how far this journey has taken us.

From Bubble Bus and Clucking Delicious, to Phat Head Dumpling, catering events across South Australia, and now Midday.

None of it was ever part of some grand master plan.

We simply followed our passion for food, kept learning, adapted when we needed to, and took opportunities when they came our way.

Every chapter taught us something.
Every challenge made us stronger.
Every customer played a part in helping us get to where we are today.

As we prepare to open Midday, we're incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported us over the years.
