In the Levant, breakfast was never just a meal — it was a ritual.
Families gathered around the table early in the morning, sharing fresh bread, olive oil, cheeses, zaatar, labneh, tea, and warm manakish while Fairuz played softly in the background. Conversations lasted for hours, neighbors visited without notice, and every table carried the feeling of home.

At Zeituna, we wanted to bring this tradition to Armenia and share a piece of the mornings many of us grew up with — warm, simple, generous, and full of flavor. 🫒✨

On the road from Aleppo to Kessab, there was always one stop we looked forward to most — Qastal.

That’s where we used to eat the unforgettable Arabic Pizza: fresh bread topped with melted cheese, tomatoes, olives, and herbs, baked hot and shared around busy breakfast tables. The sound of families talking, children laughing, and travelers taking a quiet break before continuing the mountain road made it feel even more special. 🌿

Some flavors are more than food — they are memories of home.

Today, we serve this traditional Syrian Arabic Pizza at Zeituna, bringing a little piece of that journey from Aleppo to Kessab to your table.
