Chef Michael Hinds is no stranger to challenges. From discovering his passion in a hotel kitchen at just 14 years old, to refining his skills at the Culinary Institute of America, to earning four consecutive gold medals for Barbados at Taste of the Caribbean, his journey is nothing short of extraordinary. His drive pushed him into some of the world’s finest Michelin Star kitchens, including London’s Chez Nico, where long hours and high-pressure environments sharpened his craft.
Today, with over 30 years of experience, Chef Michael Hinds is the Owner and Culinary Director of Westpoint Culinary Inc., leading restaurant operations, catering, and consultancy, with his renowned restaurant 101 West located at the Limegrove Lifestyle Centre in Barbados.
