RENEWING YOUR BRITISH PASSPORT
When did you last check your British Citizen’s Passport is due to expire?
Many countries require you to have at least 6 months validity left on your passport to enter their country. We advise you to renew your passport at least 6 months before it is due to expire!
Current guidelines on https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/hm-passport-office/about/about-our-services state that you should allow up to at least 3 weeks from when the Passport Office receives your old Passport and any supporting documents or confirmation of your identity. This could be longer if you are applying from outside the UK or reporting your previous passport is lost or stolen!
Guidance on applying for a British Citizens passport can be found at: https://www.gov.uk/apply-renew-passport where you can also start your electronic application. The on-line application process is very simple, and you can even upload the photo required of yourself from your PC, Phone or Laptop.
Please note: All British Citizen's passport applications are dealt with by the UK Passport Office and the Governor’s Office in Anguilla is not involved in the application process and are unable to intervene on behalf of applicants with the UK Passport Office, including any requests for additional documentation.

Please note that not all countries allow the use of an Emergency Travel Document (ETD) to enter their country and you should check with the county themselves if they will accept an ETD.
