The restaurant offers some of the most exquisite Thai delicacies in a manner that is freshly and organically cooked, just like it is at the homes in Thailand. Exceptionally flavorful, every dish has a texture and essence of its own, owing to its traditional cooking method, spelling out a recipe that entices the taste buds. Shang Thai holds a reputation of being Dubai's first 'All-Women Chefs' diner where an all-women team of culinarians hailing from the homelands of Thailand run the show with utmost fervency and remarkability. The team in the kitchen is led by the zealous and proficient Chef de Cuisine, Aphaimsee Phaprom, fondly addressed as 'Mamma,' owing to her passion in creating traditional and innovative Thai recipes and her wise and sagacious attributes of managing a team of experienced kitchen brigade. The restaurant professes no culinary acrobatics or dazzle by way of décor and aesthetics. The natural lighting displays a sense of tranquility and calmness, enabling a distinctive mood. Lime green being the chosen color adds to the balmy and fresh outlook of the restaurant interiors. A unique feature that adds to the ambience is of patrons having the option to choose from an open seating or a cozy private booth, adding to the exclusivity of the dining experience.
