Hot take: washed coffees are underrated, and most people drinking them don’t know why they taste the way they do.

Washed process removes the fruit cherry before drying. The bean dries clean, without touching the pulp. The result: brightness, clarity, and acidity that feels intentional rather than accidental.

It’s not better or worse than natural or honey. It’s a different conversation. And when the origin is Colombian washed it is where the terroir really shows up.
