I got gifted a couple of trays of quail eggs… so I made the internet’s favourite Korean marinated eggs.

Ingredients

* Eggs (boiled for 4 minutes)
* 5 garlic cloves, minced
* 1 cup spring onions, chopped
* 1 tsp red chilli flakes
* 1 cup dark soy sauce
* 1 cup vinegar
* 1 cup zigi (water + sugar solution)

Method

1. Boil the eggs for 4 minutes, then peel them under running water.
2. Place the eggs in an imbakuli (bowl).
3. Add the garlic, spring onions and chilli flakes.
4. Pour in the soy sauce, vinegar and zigi, then mix well.
5. Cover and refrigerate for 12 hours.
6. Serve over hot rice with cucumber and roasted groundnuts, then spoon plenty of the marinade over everything.

Now settle this for me… would you eat 1, 2 or 6 of these in one sitting? 👀🍚

Sticky Toffee Pudding is already one of the greatest desserts ever made...but adding Jacobs Coffee takes it somewhere else entirely.

Instead of soaking the dates in plain hot water, I let them steep in a rich cup of Jacobs Krönung. The coffee brings out the natural caramel notes of the dates, balances the sweetness of the toffee, and adds a deep, roasted flavour that makes every bite even more indulgent.

Served warm, drenched in homemade toffee sauce, and finished with a scoop of vanilla ice cream... this is comfort food at its finest! ☕🍰
