I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Basa Combined School, my former school, for inviting me to be part of the Matric Class of 2026 Pledge and Signing Ceremony.

It was truly an honour and a pleasure to be recognised by my former school and to have the opportunity to stand on stage, share my journey, and inspire the upcoming leaders of our country. Returning to the school where part of my journey began and being given a platform to motivate the learners was a very special and humbling experience.

As someone who once walked the same school corridors, it means so much to return and share my story with the next generation. My journey has taught me that setbacks do not define us, and that with resilience, determination, and hard work, we can overcome challenges and turn our dreams into reality.

Thank you to the school leadership, educators, and everyone who made this invitation possible. I am truly grateful for the recognition and for the opportunity to give back to the school that played a role in shaping my journey.

It is a beautiful feeling to return to your former school, not just as a former learner, but as someone who can inspire others to believe in their own potential. ❤️

To the Matric Class of 2026, I wish you all the best in your examinations and future endeavours. Believe in yourselves, stay focused, and remember that your current circumstances do not determine how far you can go.
