On Wednesday, the Art Cafe was transformed by the imagination and creativity of Bente Nesheim as she inspired a full house with the beautiful art of floral arranging.

Drawing on the principles of Ikebana and the philosophy that foraging is art, Bente showed us how nature provides everything we need to create extraordinary arrangements. Every branch, leaf, seedpod and wildflower became part of a living work of art.

Thank you Bente, for sharing your extraordinary talent and reminding us to look a little more closely at the beauty that surrounds us every day.

They came, they drank delicious coffee and ate decadent cake, they sat in silent awe watching a creator create… then they chatted, laughed, lingered and connected.
What a wonderful morning at The Art Café and thank you to all who joined us! Thank you also, Diane Erasmus, for sharing your talent and passion with us.
