We are a small family business,passionate about fresh,honest food-nothing from a box, everything from the heart. We are a proud Portuguese family from Aljustrel, and our love for cooking and baking runs deep in our roots. My passion began with my grandmother Etelvina, who lovingly raised me and taught me that food is not just sustenance—it is happiness. I have fond memories of standing on a little

chair at the age of seven, stirring pots on the stove and peeking into the oven to watch the cakes rise, learning the art of cooking with patience, love, and care. Today, my son and I have turned this passion into a dream come true. Every dish we prepare is made fresh, with love, flavour, and dedication, just as my grandmother taught me. We believe in cooking from scratch, never relying on anything out of a box, because every meal deserves authenticity and heart. We are humble, and we welcome feedback because it helps us grow and ensures our food always delights. Our motto is simple: walk in as a stranger, walk out as family. We wanted to create a space that feels like a calm, relaxing home away from home—where everyone is welcome, and every meal is made with love. And why Three Little Donkeys? The previous owner, Carlo, carried the surname Donkey. But for us, the donkey is also a symbol of strength, reliability, and tradition. In our family, donkeys were our steadfast helpers in the fields, our "tractors," and a source of pride. Keeping the name felt right—it connects the past, our values, and our love for what we do. We invite you to sit, relax, and let us share a little piece of our heritage with you.
