Old Ennis Homestead Once known as the Ennis Nursery, this heritage property has turned into a leisure destination.

🥇 First Male Finisher
🥇 First Female Finisher
🌟 Youngest Participant
💚 Oldest Participant
📸 Fun Champion of the Day – for the best and most entertaining poses
🙌 Volunteers of the Day – recognising those who help make the event possible

We’re not yet sure how long the application process will take for our event to become an official parkrun. In the meantime, we’d love to start our own tradition by celebrating the special people who make each event memorable.

🌟 A very special shout-out to our oldest participant, who proved that age is only a number! Thank you for joining our community walk/run and inspiring everyone along the way.

We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Herman and his wife, UMAMI Tap & Smokehouse who served as our wonderful Tail Walkers. They stayed at the back of the group, offering encouragement and helping to ensure that everyone completed the route safely.

Every time she passed the camera, she gave us another fabulous pose! 📸😂

Her energy, enthusiasm and wonderful sense of fun brought smiles to everyone at our Community Walk/Run. It was not only about completing the route it was about enjoying every step of the journey!

Our First Community Walk/Run! 🚶‍♂️

Today, we hosted our very first community walk/run at the Old Ennis Homestead! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us and showed their support. Your participation brings us one step closer to completing our application for a potential future parkrun.

We are not yet sure how long the application process will take, but in the meantime, we plan to host these community walk/runs regularly.
