Happy 25th birthday Lungelo Saule.

At the age of 25, you have achieved and received a lot from God’s Grace. He has guided, guarded and been there with you throughout all the years of your upbringing.

Be proud of yourself but do not be content about your position in life. You were born a warrior, in fact your name says it all, “Lungelolomdali Blessing Saule” in direct translation Lungelolomdali = God’s willingness.

I thank Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit and God for all that has become of me in my life thus far. I know my parents are looking down on me smiling and saying, “Son you have been placed amongst Kings & Queens for the Lord’s sake and not your own. So don’t be proud, be grateful and humble for he has completed everything in you. Hamba Qhawe Lam” ❤️

The freshness, size and quality of grind have a significant effect on how a coffee will taste. Have you ever tasted the bursting flavour notes of your flat white or double cappuccino? If not, you are either having the quality lacking coffee beans, inexperienced barista or just at the wrong place at the wrong time. Till we speak again. Much love.

Educate yourself now and again about your most favourite beverage. Don’t let your hard earned money go to waste, purchasing burnt or watered down coffee.

Let me plug you, tamping is a process whereby you attempt to achieve an even extraction - this determines the quality of the espresso shot.

Okay, I’m not saying go and raid your coffee barista’s intelligence but consider looking behind the machine next time you order your beverage.

As I continue to be a scholar of the industry, I continuously learn the fact that the trick is in the Barista and not the coffee beans.

Did you know that the barista can manipulate taste mixed with a bit of personality he or she can convince you, you are drinking a premium blend.

My advice to you: Ask the Barista as many questions as you possibly can about the blend and also, try have an espresso shot when trying to taste the profile of the blend.

When I got into the coffee business I came to realise that coffee lovers don’t know much about coffee and I decided to be an educator more than a service provider who retails coffee.

Coffee is a language on its own and now I move event to event and private functions to teach people about the core essence of what they are consuming and why they are consuming it.

Coffee is a language on its own, don’t forget this. You saviour coffee, you experience the craft.
