Guy Stehlik, Founder and CEO, and Pieter van Eck, Chief Operating Officer, were at the Hotel & Hospitality Expo Africa yesterday. It's great to see an event that gathers our industry together like this.

Guy was on a panel talking about “bold strategies for a rising market”. The conversation centred on what frontier markets are – where the opportunities for hospitality lie. For us at BON, that's secondary cities. Places where there is real commercial demand but the industry hasn't yet recognised the opportunity. That's been our DNA since day one.

The energy in the room was strong. Exactly the kind of industry conversation we need.
