*Skateboarder Jason Vanporppal rolls through Paarl on day 105 of his journey through Africa*

Today, Drakenstein welcomed Jason Vanporppal from Los Angeles, USA, as he passed through Paarl on day 105 of his skateboard journey across Africa.

Jason has travelled thousands of kilometres on a mission to raise awareness and support for the development of a skatepark in Uganda — using skateboarding to connect communities across the continent.

His journey has inspired people along the way, and today we had the opportunity to cheer him on as he rolled through Paarl.

We wish Jason all the best as he makes his way to the finish line in Cape Town.

Hi my Facebook family. as most of you know i have opened up a small kitchen around the corner of bloue route mall and i am up and running for about 6 months the business is growing but slow. one cant expect to become established in under a year only the lucky few have that privilege. we are in winter and as we know every thing is slow from a business perspective. i am appalling to you to open up the back a buddy link and have a glimpes of my world .
