Making trees from trees. How to build an entire orchard from just one tree💚. One becomes 3, three becomes 9, nine becomes 27, twenty seven becomes 81, eighty one becomes 243....etc etc etc. NOW THIS IS WHAT HERITAGE IS TO ME 🤗🤗🤗. HERITAGE = LEGACY🫡

Just harvested my seedstock for summer 2026. These seeds will produce my "exceptionally hot chili" for the organic pesticide I depend on for a BUMPER CROP later this year....... Note to self....wear gloves when harvesting the seeds 😉👍😁.

Presented at the African Farming event in Ladybrand. Amazing speakers and a fantastic and resilient full-house cohort of participants. Of all the valuable insights, the importance of financials and thorough book-keeping struck me as an overlooked but critical factor in Sustainable and Resilient Food Production. Interestingly, beware of "pride-farming" as it can seriously affect your financial well-being. Thank you to African Farming for the invitation 🙏🙏🙏.

Specialised 14 day training for 4th year UFS Nutrition and Dietetics students in collaboration with community members in Sustainable and Resilient Food Production this week 😁. We did ALL the theory and had a lot of fun with the "practicals", including planting in seed trays, building tunnels, cooking pesticides AND propagation of saplings from established trees 🎋🍐🍎🍏🕺💃🕺💃.

Cooking up an African indigenous SUPERFOOD. Giant Amaranth, Thepe in Sesotho or "Reuse Hanekam" in Afrikaans. I'm going to plant a lot of this next season. Preliminary results of the laboratory test indicates that this crop has AMAZING nutritional value 🥇🏆🕺
