WHY A MONTHLY DONOR DRIVE?

Working in vulnerable communities, especially with food security and education for children, requires a level of commitment from us to them.

An investment into showing up daily with healthy meals, kind and passionate facilitators, and open arms. This requires more stability than most nonprofits, donor commitment, and financial certainty.

The monthly donor drive is an effort to create a network of good-hearted people who share our vision for empowering communities and who want to stand by us to make a difference. A network of people whose funds will each month ensure that we can buy food, firewood for cooking, pay teachers stipends, keep vehicles running to deliver programs, and so much more.

Our goal is 2,000 monthly donors at R 100 a month.

Our very talented Dumi is making slabs and pavers.
These will be used to build a new sewing facility to produce more reusable sanitary pads. After that, these moulds can generate income for Nourish Eco Village.

Just a reminder that we accept DONATIONS at our office at Rockfig Centre. We accept all previously loved items from teddies and toys to clothes for children and adults, bedding, blankets, towels, kitchenware, books! So when you next do a spring clean just keep us in mind, as through our own programs and recycling swop shop we ensure your items find a good (and appreciated) home!

Excited to share what we harvested this week. Green peppers went to the grannies to prepare the food for the Green Kidz. Chilies are harvested from the onsite garden! This will be used to make our FIERY chili sauce.

At Nourish Eco Village, we had a great time showing 13 ladies from Hoedspruit what Nourish are about. They did a tour around the eco-village and ended the morning with freshly baked scones from our bakery and something hot to drink from the coffee shop.
