☀️The LAST of the June menu! Join us this week at Brunch on Broad, because after this week, these menu options are outta here, making room for our July rundown! Have you been putting off getting something you want because "it'll be there next week"?? Well, this is the week, kids!

🍎First, let's start with VCSweets, because BROWN BUTTER APPLE BLONDIES, are you joking?! Plus, Peach Cake, and Banana Pudding Cheesecake? How will I pick? How will YOU pick? Pre-order or join us early, because this dessert menu won't last all day!

🍑Then, The Community Plate is bringing some love for the Jersey peaches, too! This week's cream cheese swirl is Bourbon Peach Cream Cheese on a Cinnamon Bagel, and the sweet-savory combo is what peach dreams are made of.

☕️Additionally, we'll be welcoming Mike and his crew with Grounded Coffee back to the lot this week! Grounded was with us the first week of June, and I'm still thinking about the Maple Latte, and can't wait to try what they're bringing to the trailer this time!

Dropping menus like it's MONDAY! ⬇️ Welcome to the 78th (or something like that) Edition of Menu Drop Monday. I'm runnin' it back with that Fried Pickle Cream Cheese because y'all loved that! We are ditching the carbs and gluten in the "pasta" salad this week, and doing a Caprese Chickpea Salad, and we're introducing the Overnight Oats as a new menu staple with rotating flavors, like this week's Blueberry Pie! 🫐🥧

I'm SO excited to welcome back my bestieeee with her amazing budding business, Rind & Roast Beverage Bar! Enjoy Ocean City Coffee Company's coffee with Courtney's specialty flavors, plus everyone's favorite lemonade, too! *Tentative menu posted!*☕️🍋

It's MENU DROP MONDAYYYY, and on this week's episode of "what else can I possibly add to the menu with one singular person prepping everything" - say hi to Overnight Oats AND Hummus Cups! Due to your overwhelming feedback of BOTH items, I'm going to try out both and see what sells best! If you don't pre-order quickly, don't be sad if they're gone when you get to brunch. 😉 This is a really great menu of specials for the week, if I do say so myself, and I'm most excited about the Raspberry Basil Vinaigrette (using fresh basil from my plant) and the Fried Pickle Cream Cheese for those of you who keep asking for PICKLE! 🥒

We are welcoming a NEW coffee trailer to our craziness this week. Everyone make sure you come out to support Mullica Hill-local, Thoroughbred Brew! 🐎☕️ They have a regular menu, and a specialty menu, so you can try one drink while you wait for your food, and take one (or more!) to go with you when you leave! We think you're really going to LOVE the owner, Jesi Kelley.

Of course, VCSweets is outdoing herself yet again, and has a yummy summer lineup with Tropical Cheesecake, Banana Muffins, and more. Also, Birthday Cake scones sound like something I need a few of... 🥳

Before I drop the menu this week, I have a question for all you Brunch on Broad lovers!

I've been cutting fruit again for the summer to offer Fruit Cups in the Grab-and-Go fridge, but no one is eating/buying them! While it's not extremely time-consuming, I just hate to have fresh leftovers in the fridge! What should I do instead that y'all would want to have:

1.) Don't add anything
2.) Overnight Oat Cups
3.) Hummus & Pita & Crudite
4.) Hard-Boiled Eggs & Cheese

Please help me in wishing the Brunch on Broad resident baker, Val, a very Happy Birthday today! We also have decided she wins the 2025 and 2026 Baker of the Year Award for the café!! Now… some people might point out that she’s currently our *only* week-to-week baker, but after careful consideration, extensive yummy research, and one very unofficial meeting with myself, I’ve determined that she’d win the title whether she was competing against zero bakers, ten bakers, or 1,000+ bakers. 😘🎉

Val delivers the exact sass, sarcasm, and wit that keeps our friendship going, and that I need every Wednesday morning at 6AM, and I’m super happy that she’s still slingin’ all your favorite pastries, muffins, cups, etc. after almost 20 months of Brunch on Broad! 🥳🎈

Grounded Coffee will be opening at 6AM tomorrow for anyone who wants a caffeine fix but needs to be at work early! AND they’re sticking with us until 2PM, so if you come by a little closer to close, you can still get coffee. ☕️ Just a reminder that inside still opens at 7AM with food. ☺️ Check out the Ground Coffee specials menu… we already know we’re going with the Maple Fusion!🍁🧂

Tomorrow’s going to be busy, I can feel it. 👐🏼 Come with a few extra minutes to spare, a little patience, and pre-order if your heart is set on something you see on our new menu! We’re already at a high number of pre-orders, so the form might close early. Best to not wait until 9:59:59. 😉
