As the story goes, he was playing cards and did not want to leave the gaming table to eat. He asked for a serving of roast beef to be placed between two slices of bread so he could eat with his hands. Thus, the Sandwich was born.

The wait is over.  Earl of Sandwich has officially arrived at Downtown Disney District! 🥪✨

We celebrated opening day with Disney guests, locals, and longtime Earl of Sandwich fans who came out to experience our newest storefront. From the first sandwiches served to the excitement throughout the day, we’re so grateful for everyone who helped us kick off this new chapter.

This is just the beginning; there’s so much more to share and plenty more to come. We can’t wait to welcome you in!
