I remember the first day I met DJ Michael Watts in person. He pulled up to the Kappa and let me chill with them in the Winnebago. From day one, he treated me with nothing but love and respect.
I had the chance to work with him at several events while I was doing photography, and I even booked him for our first class reunion. Anytime I called, he answered. He gave shoutouts, dropped real game, and never moved like he was bigger than anyone.
It was a blessing to know someone on a personal level who I grew up listening to. Some people inspire you from a distance… others leave an impact when they let you walk alongside them.
Rest easy, legend. Your presence, your kindness, and your legacy will never be forgotten. 💔🕊️
