Moro is the only airport serving the Lake Kutubu area, but currently, there is only one flight per week, operated by PNG Air on Saturdays. Due to this monopoly, airfares are quite high. While there are alternative airports such as Mendi and Mt Hagen, reaching Lake Kutubu from these locations requires arranging road transport independently, as the Lodge does not have a vehicle for transfers.
