After years of delay, the city government of San Pablo and its residents expressed hope that they will soon benefit from improved mobility and reduced traffic congestion once the Alaminosโ€“San Pablo Bypass Road is completed by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) before the end of the year.

On June 11, Public Works Secretary Vince Dizon inspected the said bypass road and assured the local governments of San Pablo City and Alaminos, which will directly benefit from the project, that it will be completed by the end of the year, in accordance with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.โ€™s directive to accelerate infrastructure development and improve road connectivity.

Ibinahagi ni Gertrudes Azucena mula sa Barangay 3C ang kanyang karanasan sa pag-avail ng PhilHealth YAKAP (Yaman ng Kalusugan Program) sa San Pablo City General Hospital.

Sa kanyang testimonial, sinabi ni Azucena na malaking tulong ang programa lalo na para sa mga senior citizens dahil nagbibigay ito ng pagkakataon na makapagpa-check up, makatanggap ng gamot, at magkaroon ng mas madaling access sa serbisyong pangkalusugan.

Ayon sa kanya, malaking ginhawa ang hatid ng YAKAP dahil nababawasan ang mga alalahanin ng mga nakatatanda pagdating sa pagpapagamot at pangangalaga sa kanilang kalusugan.

Patuloy naman ang panawagan na magparehistro sa PhilHealth YAKAP upang mas maraming kwalipikadong miyembro ang makinabang sa mga serbisyong pangkalusugan.

Isang hakbang para sa mas inklusibong edukasyon ang inaprubahan ng Sangguniang Panlungsod matapos aprubahan ang panukalang ordinansa na "P2,000 Gender Responsive Educational Allowance Program for Indigent and Socially Vulnerable Public Elementary Students" mula sa Tanggapan ng Punong Lungsod.

Sa ilalim ng programa, makatatanggap ng โ‚ฑ2,000 educational allowance ang mga kwalipikadong indigent at socially vulnerable na mag-aaral mula sa mga pampublikong elementarya upang makatulong sa kanilang mga pangangailangan sa pag-aaral.

Layunin ng programa na mabigyan ng dagdag na suporta ang mga batang San Pablenyo at matiyak na mas maraming mag-aaral ang magkakaroon ng pagkakataong maipagpatuloy ang kanilang edukasyon.

Ang ganitong mga programa ay patunay ng patuloy na pagtutok sa sektor ng kabataan at edukasyon bilang mahalagang pundasyon ng kinabukasan ng lungsod.
