Since my sister was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer in 2022, she is praying and trying her very best to fight every day. She was able to finish her cycle last 2022 and we thought everything will somehow go back to normal.
During the first quarter of 2023, there were again some lesions found and the doctors decided to take a different path for her treatment which is Immunotherapy. However, it’s not doing a great impact on her and we discovered that there was another mass growing in her o***y and we decided to go back to Chemo.
At the last quarter of 2023, she's experiencing anxiety attacks every time she will have her treatment and it lasted until January of this year, thus delaying her medication. This resulted to her stomach to grow big , bigger than a full term pregnant woman.
February 11, with the help of her Oncologist, she decided to have her lab test and was scheduled to undergo an operation last February 13. It was a long and tough day for her and for all of us as she was admitted to ICU after the successful operation where two masses were removed from her right and left o***y and her o***y was removed as well. As of this writing, she is still in the ICU to stabilize her vitals.
We are again appealing and knocking at your good and generous hearts to assist us in this difficult times of our family as our medical bills are increasing and our resources are not enough to settle
