👨‍🍳👩‍🍳 Head Chef & Training and Development - Full Time Position

Amoa Resort Savaii is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals with previous experience in working in Samoa and/or the Pacific Islands in a resort or hospitality role to work in our medium size resort in Savaii.

Located a 1 hour ferry from the International Airport, you'll be able to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and work close to many of Samoa's best scenic and tourist sites. While you're here in paradise you'll be able to spend your free time snorkeling, diving, exploring Savaii the cultural hub of the Pacific.

Working in our award winning restaurant, your previous experience in working with Pacific/European fusion dishes will ensure that our restaurant maintains the standard of cuisine that many across Samoa and beyond travel to Savaii for when in Samoa.

Your experience in multitasking will be highly regarded as we are providing a-la-carte, function and catering menus to our mix of leisure and corporate clientele 7 days a week.

Training and Development of our up and coming chefs and kitchen hands will be ongoing and will ensure your success in this unique role.

This role is suited to qualified Local/Samoan chefs, as well as chefs outside of Samoa with experience in Pacific cuisine. Live in couples may also be considered. Salary dependent on recent proven experience.

We are a smoke and alcohol free workplace. Employment may be subject to a police check and requires contacts for 3 current references.

🇼🇸 In Samoa food is life, it’s love & above all it’s family 🥰 It was a honor to collaborate with Samoa Tourism on their recently revealed campaign and create this authentic Samoan feast 💯 sourced from our lands and ocean straight to the table 🥥🍍🐠🐖

This scene will be the norm for many Samoans families who are now set to be reunited with loved ones back home and our international visitors coming to experience first hand the ‘Samoan Way’.
