So grateful for the opportunity to participate in the IDG market and all the knowledge I have gained working with them.

Market weekend rolled right into Sunday! 💕 I brought the remaining goodies to church, and my church family made sure NOTHING came back home with me! 😂🙌🏾

I had the pleasure of providing over 100 pudding cups for my church’s Community Weekend. 🥹💕

When my pastor told me, “Give me a price,” I hesitated because… this is my church! My first instinct was, “Oh no, I can just do it.” 😂

But I had to remind myself that as business owners, we can’t be afraid to charge for our work—especially when we’re trying to build something worthwhile. Ingredients cost. Packaging costs. Time costs. And growth takes investment.

One thing I truly appreciate about my pastor is that he doesn’t just talk about supporting the community—he believes in putting resources back into the people and small businesses within it.

Sometimes supporting a small business looks like sharing a post or telling a friend. And sometimes it looks like saying, “Give me your price. I want to pay you for your work.”

That meant more to me than he probably realizes. 💕
Community supporting community. That’s how we all grow. 🙌🏾

Meet Bananas Foster on Decatur — our newest New Orleans-inspired cookie! ⚜️

A brown butter banana cookie stuffed with a caramelized banana filling and finished with a sweet brown butter glaze. 🤤🍪

A little NOLA history: Bananas Foster was created in New Orleans in 1951 at Brennan’s Restaurant, combining bananas, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and rum into the now-famous flambéed dessert.

We took that classic NOLA flavor and gave it the Nola’s Sweet Shoppe treatment. 💕⚜️

✨ Bananas Foster on Decatur makes its official debut August 15th at our upcoming market!

I’m so excited to announce that Nola’s Sweet Shoppe will be a vendor at the Cornerstone Collective Outdoor Market on Saturday, August 15th, from 10 AM–2 PM! 💗
