Schiacciata (skee-ah-CHAH-tah): A flat Tuscan bread similar to focaccia with a little more herbs, crust and density.
This is an option to our wonderful rustic panini bread and it is amazing with our Roasted Vegetable sandwich -- "best sandwich in the Midwest" -- as one reviewer put it.
